Regardless of political affiliation, protecting the lives of citizens is one of the fundamental responsibilities of any government. When communities continue to experience deadly attacks, it naturally raises difficult questions about security, prevention, and accountability.
At the same time, discussions around such incidents should be guided by verified information and empathy for the victims rather than misinformation or political point-scoring. The focus should remain on justice for those affected, support for survivors, and practical steps to prevent future tragedies.
No Nigerian should have to fear losing their life simply because of where they live or worship.
