Responding to the allegation, JusticeCrack categorically denied ever giving such instructions, insisting that the minister lied on national television without presenting any evidence to support the claim.
Social media personality and activist, Mark Chidiebere Justice, popularly known as JusticeCrack, has accused the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), of making false and defamatory claims against him during an interview on News Central.
JusticeCrack was reacting to comments made by the Defence Minister, who claimed during the television interview that the activist instructed military personnel to remove meat and other items from their meals to make the food being served to soldiers appear inadequate.
According to JusticeCrack, he never contacted military officers over issues relating to their welfare. Rather, he said some serving military personnel reached out to him to express concerns about their welfare and living conditions.
"The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), lied during an interview on News Central that I, JusticeCrack, instructed military officers to remove meat and other items from their meals to make the food appear inadequate," JusticeCrack said.
