Fable 5 was previously taken offline following U.S. export controls and national security concerns. If approved, the move would restore access to one of Anthropic's most advanced AI models for developers and subscribers.
Neither the White House nor Anthropic had officially confirmed the reported timeline when the initial reports emerged.
