Anthropic has announced that the U.S. government has approved the redeployment of Claude Mythos 5, its most advanced cybersecurity AI model, to selected U.S. organizations responsible for operating and defending critical infrastructure.
According to the company, it has been working closely with the U.S. government since June 12 to restore access to both Claude Mythos 5 and Fable 5.
Anthropic said it is moving quickly to restore Mythos 5 for eligible organizations and will continue working with the government to expand access and make Fable 5 available for general use once again.
The development marks a significant step toward the broader return of Anthropic's advanced AI models following previous access restrictions.
