The Lagos State Government has announced the arrest of Mr. John Ehidreme, 56, for allegedly dumping refuse into a drainage channel at No. 18 Oluoga, Ikorodu.
According to the government, indiscriminate waste disposal violates environmental laws, obstructs drainage systems, contributes to flooding, and poses serious public health and environmental risks.
Authorities have urged residents to dispose of their waste responsibly and use only approved waste management facilities to help keep the environment clean and prevent flooding.
